Neil Dearberg delights in helping people choose a lifestyle then find the money to do it.
He is an advocate of living life to the full for his family, his clients and himself. His favourite quote comes from Helen Keller - “life is a daring adventure, or nothing”. He reflects this in his very successful business of over 20 years at Lifestyle Financial Solutions www.lifestylefs.com.au and, his passion for life through travel and lifestyle pleasures at www.lifetimelifestyle.com
Neil has developed his own significant wealth through helping his clients develop their wealth and, actioning his own investment recommendations to others. He was also a Gold Medal winner when his surf ski relay team won the World Championships (Masters) in 2006 so he knows the plans and actions it takes to be at the top.
In addition to presentations at national, state and local conferences, he has written many financial and wealth creation articles for various publications. Liking to be part of the action, he has also served on committees for the Australian Institute of Management; Sunshine Coast University Planning & Resources; Financial Planning Assn of Aust; and Go Mooloolaba Chamber of Commerce.
Often the “myth-buster”, Neil focuses on the real world of making money and challenges beliefs that have been based on hearsay and emotion, rather than fact. Neil says “there are no secrets to making money – just simple principles and common sense. It just takes that common sense to become common practice.” These principles are delivered at his presentations in a down to earth, easy to understand manner that gives you many provable examples so you can immediately go and start making more money for yourself.
He also says “many of life’s ills and family tension originates from not having enough money to do the things people need to do and, would really like to do – so why not get it right and enjoy life. It can be done with planning and action. Why not be part of that very small group (less than 10% of the population) that DO managed to get it right???”
Believing life was meant to be enjoyed, he is planning a trip to the Middle East to follow the Roman, Jewish, Muslim and Christian development in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt later in 2007. Then there is the next World Surf Lifesaving Championships in Germany in July 2008 – having money to do these things is part of Neil’s philosophy that he vividly passes on to those who want to achieve their own lifestyle journey.
